SALALAH, August 5, 2024 – Eastern Unity Technology (EUTECH) proudly participated in the Omani-Arab Investment Forum held in Salalah on 4 and 5 August 2024. Our Chief Executive Officer, Ali Hassan Abdulrahman Al-Saggaf, attended the event and was honored to receive an award for his prominent role and distinction in providing material that helps reduce the costs of crude oil production.
The forum was inaugurated at the Sultan Qaboos Youth Complex for Culture and Entertainment under the auspices of His Highness Sayyid Marwan bin Turki Al Said, Governor of Dhofar. This two-day event, organized by various government and private sector agencies, focused on enhancing investment and economic cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and Arab countries.
Discussions centered around the investment opportunities available to Arab investors and business owners, as well as the legal framework, incentives, and facilities granted to investors in Oman. The forum also highlighted Oman’s favorable investment environment and targeted promising sectors in line with Oman Vision 2040, which includes manufacturing, agriculture and fisheries, logistics, education, scientific research, and innovation. These sectors are crucial for fostering effective partnerships between Oman and Arab business owners.
Dr. Nabil Saeed Ghanem, Vice Chairman of the Organizing Committee, announced the forum’s commitment to meet annually in Dhofar Governorate, emphasizing the region’s strategic and geographical importance. The annual event will coincide with the Khareef season, enhancing its appeal and opportunities for participation.
EUTECH’s attendance at this significant forum not only allowed us to gain valuable insights into the investment landscape in Oman but also reinforced our commitment to fostering strong partnerships within the region.
